evil little critters those chiggers! I know personaly I would use whatever it took to keep them off of me, scent free or not!! If they are that bad I would use high deet content products and keep the wind in your favor. It won't be scent free, but it will help keep you itch free. Otherwise wait until the weather turns cold then hunt the area.

No Stinkin' Bugs by Scent Shield works fine. Be sure to read the directions carefully.

I don't hunt NC until after the frost kills those little buggers.

lol they must be a southern thing then.......a chigger is a evil little red bug, TINY, that goes around bites in, moves on bites again......and each place it bites a bump comes up and itches like fire. get em bad and looks like chicken pox all most.

ticks are worse than chiggers here this year, but if im not mistaken a good permanone(sp?) spray on your clothes will do the trick. then just wear scentlok layers above that and you'll be both scent free and chigger free.

Nasty little bug, chiggers are. But I'd way rather have chiggers than a tick! Kill these little deviants with alcohol.
