evil little critters those chiggers! I know personaly I would use whatever it took to keep them off of me, scent free or not!! If they are that bad I would use high deet content products and keep the wind in your favor. It won't be scent free, but it will help keep you itch free. Otherwise wait until the weather turns cold then hunt the area.

No Stinkin' Bugs by Scent Shield works fine. Be sure to read the directions carefully.

lol they must be a southern thing then.......a chigger is a evil little red bug, TINY, that goes around bites in, moves on bites again......and each place it bites a bump comes up and itches like fire. get em bad and looks like chicken pox all most.

ticks are worse than chiggers here this year, but if im not mistaken a good permanone(sp?) spray on your clothes will do the trick. then just wear scentlok layers above that and you'll be both scent free and chigger free.:D

Nasty little bug, chiggers are. But I'd way rather have chiggers than a tick! Kill these little deviants with alcohol.

Mycover scentis so good the chiggers can't find me..[8D] jk I have been through some pretty thick stuff and haven't had them yet....knock on wood. I know my father inlaw can walk outside and get bit a dozen times by skeeters in a matter of minutes and they don't seem to bother me. Thanks for the info just in case!

Whenever I get back from the woods, I take a bath in hot water and a little bleach to kill them before they burrow in, as they take several hours to set in.

Ohh Chiggers, I don't miss a bit about those lil' %^&*s.Trust me don't go out in the woods and get a good load of them, then come home, and climb in bed with your wife.
The only way your are going to avoid getting them and staying totally scent free is to get them and kill them when you get home. When I would get a good dose of them I used to sit 10-15 minutes in a half tub of hot bath water and two cap fulls of clorox. Took care of them!:)
I could handle the chiggers it was the seed ticks that really suck.[:@]
