I agree with a lot of the guys here including the original post, that shot placement is number one. With perfect shot placement, it really wont matter how blades you are using. However that may change on the type of game you are after, and how much penetration you will need. I am a full believer, that your best penetration on bigger game such as elk and moose will be with a two bladed cut on contact. On whitetails, however thing can be taken into consideration, such as additional blades. This coming season, I plan on using a couple of different setups on whitetail. The first wil be with my trustee magnus 150 grain broadheads with bleeders. The second (this will be my first time with it) will be with a 120 grain dead head six bladed head. But I wouldn't put any two or three bladed head user down. I have definetely taken my share with both.
