Let me start off by saying I purchased my bow from Streiffs Sporting Goods in Warroad, Minesota. Having never shot a bow before I was a little nervous about how good of a shot I'd be. I was fitted for my bow by Nick. Talk about excellent service. Nick spent four hours with me explaining the features of the bow, the accessories and proper shooting technique. To tell you the truth I din't beleve him when he told me "before you leave I'll have you consistently hitiing the bullseye at 20 yards".
I shot the PSE x-force, Mathews Drenalin, and Hoyt Vextric. I went with the Hoyt after a considerable amount of time shooting all three. Everytime I shot the Drenalin I could feel vibrations in my hand. After my bow was loaded up with accessories two of my last four shots were bullseyes. I ended up buying a GPS, Glendel Full rut Buck, and some Raingear after I was through shooting my bow. After spending a little over $2,000 Nick gave me a farly high discount on everything I purchased. He also gave me a few Calenders, Three hats, and a DVD.
I can't say enough good things about the staff at Strieffs. If you want excellent service go and see Nick.

That's what a good pro shop is for, right there. Kudos to him, and excellent choice by the way. You did that exactly right, too. Shoot a few and decide which one you like best.....Expensive day, but hey, you can't take it with you anyway....

Good for you brother. You made the right move by shooting 3 of the high end bows and choosing after shooting them all....not by choosing a name alone. Good for the shop for discounting your stuff too and throwing in some freebies. have fun
