Hey just curious... Being that public land is so awsome to hunt... I wonder how many of those P&Y's came off public land??? I'm willing to bet a good number came off of some kind of bait... What do experts think;)
Give it up already..........Maybe a job would help. Oh but then you wouldn't have time for that public land hunting.............I'm so sick of hearing about this I could[:'(]

Some interesting stats there Germ, Glad to see Indiana improving in those stats. Dam, i keep hearing that the OBR is not working for Indiana, I personally think it does, coupled with the many land leases that are a trend in my area, people have gotten more picky with what they shoot since they get only one buck tag, and are letting them grow to potential. I know, i have eaten tag soup several times waiting on the big boys and giving the smaller ones free passes.again interesting.

Doing some reading at lunch

74% of the bucks entered in P & Y are by hunters with 10+ years
experience.

The highest % of entries are from 25+ years of experience.

23 yds is the average distance of a book buck kill

78% book bucks are taken from tree stands

7 out of top 20 typical bucks have come from Iowa.

Bucks over 150 inches are rare. KY and IN have had the most increase of the years. KY 48.9% and IN 38.6 both states now have an OBR, hmmmm

35% of the top ten entries in NT and Typical have been tagged in the last 7 years.
