Help.... Peep is blurry

I have a question. Every time I draw back I cannot see through my peep because it is so blurry. I have a 3/16" meta G5. I know it is in line with my eye because I have custom strings that are dead on when I draw back. I wear contacts but I always blink before I shoot. Do you think it is my eyes, the lighting, to small of peep or what? Any suggestions would be great.[/align]

Are you positive that it is in line. Ive had this happen and I had to break my bow down and have the string twisted.

There is absolutely no way you can't see clearly through a 3/16" peep if it's in normal light and adjusted right.

Close your eyes, draw and anchor. Then open your eyes. Can you see through the peep without moving your head? If not, it needs to be adjusted to be level with your eye. After that, it might need to be adjusted to come back square to your eye.

I do hope it doesn't rotate to where it's completely backwards when it gets to your eye. I've see that before too.[:-]

Take it off and try a kisser button.100% clear view.

I have you tried just looking at your target with just your "Peep eye" to see if it is blurry? Might be too simple of a question but then again it might not if you haven't tried it. I have the same problem with my "peep eye" and vision being blurry. Luckily my contact corrects most of the stigmatism.

I would say its your eyes, may be time for some new contacts.

I have q similar problem with my meta peep. I don't know about your situation, but my peep is not perfectly perpendicular to my line of sight when I'm at full draw. I have to twist it a little bit with my chin at full draw before I shoot to see clearly through it. If this is what's happening to you, you need to slide your peep down or up a hair to get it to twistcorrectly when you come to full draw.

I took my peep off and it is a lot better. I don't have to worry if it is lined up or the string twisted it. I have been anchoring behind my ear, and doing quite well. However, this weeked I am going to get a kisser button!!! :)

Are you shooting with both eyes open, or one eye shut?

It may also be an issue with where you are focusing... are you looking at your pins or your target.

I'm blessed with very exceptional eyesight, so I can't exactly feel your pain, but the way I shoot is to squint one eye and center the peep around the sight housing... then I open both eyes and never take my focus off the target after that. The peep just makes sure my head is in the same place each shot. I don't even notice it.

Look right at the pin and keep the target secondary. This is a common remedy.

My eyes are not what they used to be either.
