Germ,
I just picked up my tag. The person behind the counter said that combo license will be $60 next year. Have you heard anything about this?

I thought they were going up this year, but I just asked the other day when I was getting my grill tank filled and he said they didn't go up, maybe next year but he didn't know how much for sure.
The doe tags are more though right? Weren't they 7 bucks before? I didn't get any last year so I'm not sure.
A guy I work with just got some crop damage tags (5 anterless) for this month, so he is hunting already. He said it's kind of rough though since it gets dark so late and we start work at 4:30 in the morning.

If i remember right when i was reading the DNR's page, it should be $75 for the combo. Either way its rediculous.

We have lost over 200,000 hunters in MI since the peak in early 90's. This is the stat they will through at you.

In VA, they did something which is kinda cool. We now have a lifetime license for $255 if your between age 12-44. The price goes down as age goes up. It doesn't include individual tags, but still pretty cool. Our annual sportsman's license (as mentioned above) is $120.
Just an FYI for comparison.

Gary - any ideas on what we can do in PA to get 200,000 hunters to quit hunting? I'm all ears and ready to contribute.

If guy can not go 100 yds of a two track and put a pile of apples and kill a buck than it just is not worth it here in MI
