If you're looking to harvest a high scoring buck always go with a tall tined deer versus a wide spread deer it will score better! But on the other hand there is just something about those freakishly thick racks that everyone loves.

Here are two bucks I'm keeping my eye on that represent both categories. These were taken on July 26th and they've both gained some tine and beam length since then. Interestingly enough...the buck with the mass always submits to the boss in front.

It really doesn't matter to me ... after all you can't eat the antrlers anyways but it would be nice to have the best of both worlds.
The chance's of seeing one like that in Michigan would be like hitting the lottery , it will never happen. :(

Its all about mass, so the thicker the better, the wider the better, the taller the better but im more mass and width then iam height
