For the distances I'm shooting at I never use one. My groups stay within 2" out to 40 yards so I'm happy. If I was serious into target archery competitions I'm sure I would but for hunting I'll pass. I get confused easy enough now when a buck walks by. I can see it now...7 o'clock opening day a 10 point walks out. stand up...draw bow...center sites in peep site....square off shoulders...take deep breath and exhale slowly....check sight level....bow is off so make adjustment....take another deep breath....adjust sight level one more time....take final deep breath....watch as deer slips away, get light headed and fall out of stand.:D

Honest answer is.....Nope. I hardly eve check it. When Im working on nothing but pure form....I'll give it a glance. When I'm shooting 3D or hunting.....I honestly forget it's there. I NEVER look at it hunting.

I always use the level while practicing so when im hunting it just comes natural...

The tournament classes where I did most of my competition shooting didn't allow levels on the sight. Didn't even allow pin guards in those days. So I was never in a position to begin relying on either one. Now I feel like they are just extra distractions you don't need. Especially when your palms are sweaty, your heart is pumping in your throat and you're doing your level best to keep your shaking knees from dumping you out of your treestand, all the while trying to aim at that deer.

My sights have a level on it and I do use the level to make sure that I am consistantly doing the exact same thing for every shot.

Yes, I use my level....especially when shooting on odd/non level landscapes.

Little hint, if you don't have a level, always cant your top limb slightly into the hill. Most if not all people have tendency to cant the opposite way without a level.

i whole hardly agree with you.... it's just 1 more think if you use it often will stop you from drifting left to right especially from a tree stand...

i am a single pin sight person, so i have it on my hha and on my T.R and with my hot dot its built right in if you cant more then 6 degrees it shuts off....
