I would be glad to help them thin the herd.

Howdy,

The link for our Deer for Breakfast video that my wife posted is http://www.metacafe.com/watch/316898/deer_for_breakfast_in_texas/

That video was from 2006, we've put a few more on in 2007, here's a link to one and just check our channels for more.

I'll try to answer some of yall's questions.
Yes, it was breakfast. We were about to eat breakfast and had this crazy idea to set plates for the deer. It was very dry last year and the deer were hungry, obviously.

They are not exactly wild, but they are not tame either. They are not fenced in and it's not a game farm, it's just our back yard.

In Texas you must have 10 acres to hunt, since we only have 1 we cannot allow hunting. However, there is a ranch less than a mile away were people do hunt.

Scent control is useful and important when hunting, we can't get anywhere near these deer when they are on the ranch next door. It seems they know where it is illegal to hunt. We were not wearing any kind of scent.

It is not a high fence operation. There are several in our county, and I don't really like them. I just feel the wildlife should be wild and able to migrate and go where they want or need to go.
