To bad he is off limits or I would surely choose him as my first bow deer.

Just curious but why would you want your camera in a place you cant hunt? Unless your just trying to get some pictures of a giant deer...

Wouldnt it help you more with scouting if it was on some property that you could hunt?

Nice buck though...Looks like hes gettin a little bump on the bottom of his beam. Could be a drop in a few years...

I didn't have an extra memory card for my camera until this year so I always had to pull it to get the pictures back home. I also have only been up to my property twice this summer. So while I wasn't going up there from December to July I had it in the cities and I can still enjoy pictures of deer here. I also look for the sheds of these bucks big time so it is nice to see whats in store for me this coming winter and spring. This year I have a friend to take with me too. She wants to find a shed this year.

Yeah I can get there in two hours or so. It is worth the drive though if I can hunt every weekend.

I hear ya. I got a few places that are a little drive away but they are worth hunting/scouting for sure!

Believe me if I could hunt around here it would be prime! That deer is small compared to what I have seen around here. I have a shed from a buck that looks like that one, but a lot more length and mass and he also has a 6 inch drop tine. I've seen tons of 10 pointers. Most of the deer around here aren't really wide, but the length of tines is great.
