I agree with quicksilver, this is the best thing that I have found. It works great. A most have for using screw in steps.

Ameristep sells a steel tool for installing/removing steps. I'd never even attempt screwing in steps without it. With this baby, you can absolutely bury them in there. If you use screw-in steps - you need this thing.
