RE: Screwin in treesteps???
Greg/Mo has it right......Cranford all the way! No need for drills or step installers. Just startem and screw them in. Easier to start, strong, durable and safe. One thing about them is if they get a tad dull after lots of use, the tip ends are easily touched up. Another cool thing is they can be easily unscrewed compared to any other brand I tried in the past, but still easily screw in. Personnally I prefer the rod steps and my local pro shop sells them for $3.50 a piece, a pretty good deal.:) I would not trade 5 of any other brand for 1 of my Cranfords.

RE: Screwin in treesteps???
ORIGINAL: Germ safty harness like seat of the pants. You can buckle it in on the sides by your hips. This allows you to lean back with your hands free. Also called a linesman belt I think. |
RE: Screwin in treesteps???
depends on which steps your using.. My finace' used the EZ wide screw in steps they were a breeze.. the cheaper steps are a pain in the @ss, per him.
He deserves a break so we went to the sticks this year. |
RE: Screwin in treesteps???
wow. I"m surprised ANYONE would even think of putting in the tree steps without wearing a safety harness\lineman's belt.
That's whats called COMMON SENSE to help alleviate a fall out of the tree and possible injury. (as in DUH!) I don't care how old you are, how strong you are, what kind of job you do, how much money you make-----when you hit the ground or hang up on a tree step the loved ones you leave behind won't care either. PLEASE, PLEASE......everyone wear a harness and USE the linemans belt to install the steps.......it ain't rocket science people.......and live to hunt another year. |
RE: Screwin in treesteps???
