Okay folks. Let's see pictures of thefirst buck you ever took with a bow.
I am a bowhunting newbie so this picture is from last year. I took the 4 x 5 (14 points) after only 15 minutes in the stand of my very first bow hunt. I practiced for months, even stting up a treestand in my back yard to take 25 yard shots at my 3d target. Then I waited just 15 mintues for this guy. I grunted him in from about 50 yards and shot him at 23 yards. I have to admit the coolest thing about the entire episode was the grunting. I stopped him, turned him around and pulled him in with 3 grunts. He even grunted back and ruffled his fur up while walking in sideways. That was awesome!

Greg,
That is an awesome picture! You look very young and very proud of that buck. And look at that bow! I hunt Bear Valley, Wisconsin and I can not wait to get back up there next month.

Always loved that photo, Greg
. Respect.....ESPECIALLY since I shot my longbow for the first time, yesterday!
It's cool you still remember the date and time, too. Says a lot. I'm with ya.
My first bow buck was my first bow deer......and my entry in last year's contest....which I'm sure everyone has seen!.....lol
