Hey for those of you who have been around all summer following my silly saga (blown achilles 6/23 surgery on 7/3). I got some good news yesterday. We took the cast off. I'm now in a walking boot and I'm allowed to put 50% weight on my foot. Still walking with crutches but...walking, not hopping!
I start rehab a week from today 3 X a week. My Drs. goal (and mine) is.. I have an appointment on 8/30 he wants me to walk out of there with no crutches/cast/support.
That will be a full month before my opener. Scouting may suffer, but I'm thinking once the season starts it's gonna be business as usual !!!

Man that's great news and bad news all in one. A blown achilles makes it pretty darn hard to shimmey up a tree in a climber and all that stuff.Mind your doctors orders and don't over do the rehab. Don't want to start all over again. That really is a pain in the butt injury. Get a list of questions together for the therapist.... like stretching, after work cool down/ice down/heat up or whatever such an injury requires. You're right, it doesn't mean a thing to me.[8D] But let us know how it progresses. You never know when someone else on here will have the same deal. I know you're happy. Us???? We don't care.[8D][8D]
