I tried this this afternoon while I was stand hunting. If you have never tried this you should.
My wife made bluberry muffins for breakfast this morning. When I was preparring to head out to go hunting this afternoon I got the idea to take a couple with me. I cut them in half and put a little swath of butter between the halves. Then I wrapped them in saran wrap and paper towel and put them in my muff along with three of those disposable hand warmer packs. One of the big 12hr size, and two of the smaller 7hr size. After about an hour and a half on my stand it was cold out. I'm fighting that shivers up and down my spine feeling and my stomach is growling. So I broke one of those bad boys out, and I'm tellin yah, this is the stuff. It was all hot and steamy with the butter all melted into it. Almost gave me goose bumps, and I'm thinking man I'm on to something here. The possibilties are endless. Cozy muff cooking
What do you think? Should I write a cook book about it or what? Okay so it is a bit ironic that I should be wearing scentlok clothing, but then again if you can't have fun why go. Right?

Sounds like you really do have something there. Next you'll have to try a pot roast with some potatoes and carrots! LOL Just kidding. Although just about any sandwich would probably work. Hot ham & cheese anyone? Just don't get the mayo on the grip of your bow! LOL

Bowhunter... that pot roast thing is called stew in a thermos. It sounds like you could have a warm muffin if that's your thing. Me, I'd rather carry some more patiences and quiet.
