RE: Loosing the wrist strap...
How much would they run for a normal person? MSRP?
|
RE: Loosing the wrist strap...
The ST-3 is roughly $149 MSRP and the strap is around another $30.

I was using a Carter Chocolate Addiction last year but it was just a tad bit big for my hands. I just got my Carter Chocolate Lite in today and buddy this thing is sweet! Matt you'll throw that Tru Ball in the trash if you try a Carter Chocolate Lite. I did! (Not really but I sold it rather quickly after I got my Carter):)

Played a little more with a Scott Longhorn Pro today. Man, the dumbest design I think I've ever seen, is having a "click" in a backtension release right before it goes off. Just my opinion, but that click kills me.

ORIGINAL: Cougars09 Played a little more with a Scott Longhorn Pro today. Man, the dumbest design I think I've ever seen, is having a "click" in a backtension release right before it goes off. Just my opinion, but that click kills me. The click is the staging point in which you need to mentally flip the switch from setting up the shot to consiously aiming. At this point (the click) your subconscious should be taking over the pulling through and shot execution while your focus stays on the X. Shot sequence with a clicker should be like this: [ul][*]Draw[*]Anchor[*]Aquire target[*]Set release hand starting position (click)[*]Commit[*]Stare at X[*]Shot breaks[*]Finish the shot with a destination touch point w/ release hand [/ul] |
RE: Loosing the wrist strap...
I agree, I just got one out of the package and started playing with it. Then I said that clicker has to go, so then he showed me how to fix it. I like the concept of a backtension, I'll probably own one before winter. First few shots on one are guarenteed to scare you to death [:-]:D;).
Gotta pay attention to what you're doing or your dentist will be paying attention to you :D:)[8D] |

Used T handles for 20 years and never droped it or forgot it. Just got the Stan super X 4 and it's sweet.

RE: Loosing the wrist strap...
I have to say that's one sweet looking release..

RE: Loosing the wrist strap...
I second that, nice looking release. If it functions half as good as it looks, should be quite a piece of equipment.
