This awesome buck was the one I posted about last year that was shot very close to home, but I don't think anyone believed me at the time. He has 36 scorable points and mass to spare. The buck was shot on a fall turkey hunt!!! Go figure!!! Jerry said that he spooked the turkey and a little while later a doe came by. The doe stopped at only 15 yards but before Jerry could shoot, she bolted. While he was setting there cursing his luck he heard Mr. Big come crashing thru the brush and he stopped right where the doe had stood only moments earlier. Jerry wasted little time and shot the buck. Jerry Bryant was shooting a crossbow because of a shoulder operation. Jerry is 67 years old. Congrats to him and the area that could grow such a tremendous deer!!! Jerry has stressed numerous times that he wants the buck to be remembered NOT the lucky guy who shot him. How cool is that? <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
