I just changed the limbs on my Diamond Victory from 60-70 to 50-60. I have the limbs bottomed out and the max draw weight is 63#. I had the bow at 65# with the old limbs. I lost 2 fps. This bow and yours at 58#s will be capable of killing any game animal on the continent.

elephant would be hard with 58# but if u get its eye then it kept going till brain u might live.
No, THIS continent! LOL!

I just traded my 70 lb Outback for a 60 lb Drenalin. I sure hope it is.

Thanks alot for all the info. Some of my friends here in Utah give me a hard time for not getting the 70lb bow and for choosing the Black Ice over the Drenalin. Its just that when I went to shoot both of these bows the Black Ice felt better. Although both the Drenalin and Switchback XT were pretty darn nice shooting. Thanks again.

up until 3 years ago I have been shooting 65 or 70#s. Getting older & purchased a Darton that maxes at 60#s.
I have taken Elk, Buffalo, several wild hogs & Whitetail with it & no problem but then I have killed Elk, Hogs, Black Bears, Whitetail & Mule Deer with 55# stickbow. you have plenty.
