there was a bright side to the WHA, they showed us just how strong our community is.

Who was the guy that got banned. Little guy from Colorado? Tried to pretend he was not an employee of WHA.

What was his name, hmmm

I had wondered about them, too. I'm glad to see that his idea was not received by the rest of the hunting community.

Well, if they went under, then my only chance of ever being a professional "athlete" is gone with them

Let's not kid ourselves about the commercialization of hunting though. It has already happened to a large degree. Kids who have never even killed a deer before refer to bucks by what their rack would score for Pete's sake! Of course they are generally +/- 50% of reality, but it is sad that it has come to that. Just a little thorn that has been bugging me lately.

Ok Germ, you can bash me for being off subject on your one of your posts again

Just in case anyone thinks I am standing up for the WHA I meant the fact that they try ed to exploit our sport and we said no.

Hopefully they're gone for good!!! It was great to see the vast majority of the hunting community rally against them when the issue first arose.
