A day with the PA boys!
 

I drove over to PA and met up with a few of HNI's local trouble makers to enjoy some archery shooting at WTF's club, yes I said WTF one of the infamous TEAM VOIDERS :D

We BSed A LOT and warmed up on the practice range and set out for a field course.... Of course I only had a pin for out to 40 yards and we had some 70 yard shots :DI wouldn't say any of us shot great but we were all in the fair to good range anyhow!

Rybo brought along his beautiful long bow and we took turns shooting it.... Very nice bow.

Quicksilver is just as "colorful" and crazy as he is here on HNI... No surprize there!
Rybo is a great guy, very friendly and seems he would get along with anyone.
WTF could talk like no one I have ever met!

All are great guys, I had a blast.

Dude, western PA doesn't even count as PA!.......they have big deer, and nobody from "Here" goes over "There" unless we need to get to a western state.:D

So how about Quick's eliminator button let loose and he used his PA engineering skills and tied a piece of peep sight rubber tubing on his string so we could test fire the Iron Mace! :D

Easy there big guy, I'm a Pittsburgh boy and a PSU grad living outside Philly, so I got it all covered.;)

As Matt said, the only reason you got away with that Buckeye shirt is because you were too close to home to hide your body. Now if you wore that shirt up in Germ's neck of the woods I'd be impressed.:D

It sounds like you guys had some fun. We should try to plan a PA/OH get together some time. The Burgh would be a good middle ground.

Yea it was great getting together today shootingwith you guys. We had some fun. BS'd more than we shot, but still managed to fling some arrows downrange.

Sorry one of my best friends lives out near Pittsburg and another was born and raised out "There" as well. It's just habit for an Eagles, Phillies, Flyers , Penn State fan. :D(Lucky me huh?)
I guess if it comes down to it we'll still be on the same side if the Civil War ever flares back up. ;)

Where do I stand, I am a Dallas Cowboys fan, hate the Steelers, I like the Yankees and the Pirates suck, Penn State who? Notre Dame all the way!!! I do like the Penguins though :D

Everyone knows OSU is the cream of the crop inthe BIG 10......

It is going to be another PSU beat down this fall... Just like the rest of em' were :DWhat's PSU like 1 and 4 the last 5 years vs. the bucks :)[8D]

Not only does that not bring you back to life it shows your ignorance of football and all things holy. Westbrook, underrated yes, but the best overall running back is by far LaDanian. In fact, he is probably the most valuable player in the league right now.

Hating the Steelers and loving the Cowboys? I'm amazed you've made it this long.

Buckeye, the great thing about the Big10 is there is no single dominating team like other conferences. The Buckeyes have been good lately, but they've only brought home one National Championship recently. As much as I hate to say it, I think Michigan will eat up the Big10 this year, so we'll see.

Come on now... yeah, LaDanian is an amazing running back, he may be the best running back if you just look at it when he runs, but IMO Westbrook is the complete package considering that he is better at catching the football than half of the starting wide recievers in the league.

Yeah, so am I, especially considering that a few years ago when the Eagles knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs my buddy and I dressed up in full Eagles gear, used window paint and covered his entire truck with "Go Eagles" and "Steelers Suck" phrases, and drove all through town while dragging a few "terrible" towles behind us :D

Scott just used the panoramic lens, which made it look small - really, my head is much, muchlarger than it appears in those pictures. I had to crisco my ears just to get my head through the door at Mark's club.

Seriously - had a good time today at the range - Mark, Scott, Ryan - all top notch guys, fun to be around (and DAMN good shots - all of 'em). I'm sure we'll definitely hang out again. Nice to get out and do that kinda stuff - kinda just came together at the spur of the moment when we all realized we were free for the day. I'm just glad that my eliminator button ripped off 2/3 of the way through the course (before I had a chance to embarrass myself and live up to my reputation as the world's worst archer).

I still have a hard time warming up to Scott, b/c he showed up insome god-awful red shirt fromsome school in Ohio.I'm hoping maybe he's just colorblind -maybe thought he waswearingPenn State Blue, and didn't know it was red. I didn't wanna say anything, thought maybe he had aeye handicap or something... You know... I did read that something like 20% of the populationIS colorblind.

And Mark - I'm holding you to your promise - I wanna see some pictures of that waitress... I've got a memory like a steel trap (when it comes to women, at least). LOL

...and then, as if we weren't mentally scarred enough already from having to look at that horriblered shirt all day, Ryan lets us all shoot his longbow... The whole time, you could just hear this "sucking" sound. Turns out, it was the sound of ourchecking accountsemptying, as we started figuring out which kidney we were gonnasell to come up with the spare dough tobuy a new customtraditional bow. Thatlongbow is just a higher level of craftsmanship than anything I've ever held in my hands before. Really nice bow Ry.

Mark - I've got about 500 pounds of shelled corn laying in the basement - I'd like to get it out soon, and I'm looking for a good pack mule. If you're interested, just give me a call. LMAO

Someone who is to notch with a long bow is almost mystical to me. Now how many freakin hours/days/years does it take to become mystical?
