for the money... what is the best digital trail camera... I am not wanting a cuddeback, because I really can't spend the money right now, maybe one day when i kill a world record I can get sponsored ...
but I need a cheap digital that has decent trigger time, my wild view or something like that, and the trigger time is slow, I want something a little better, any suggestions???

I should also mention that GSM (Stealth Cams) have come out with several decent cameras ranging from a 2.0 MP to a 4.0 MP.
The only real difference I think you'll find between these and a Cuddeback will be trigger speed. Picture quality should be very comparable.

I've owned many different trail cameras over the years and I finally found a digital model that I like. It's the stealth i450. It's only $139 and stealth currently has a $20 rebate which would bring it down to $119. It's a very good camera. Check out what people are saying about it in the trail camer review forum on www.chasingame.com. People love this camera! I liked mine so much I got another one a couple weeks ago.
Cuddebacks are highly highly overpriced. You do not always get what you pay for. Last year I purchased a cuddeback no-flash for $449 at Cabelas. I got 2 pictures in about a month (but my corn was disappearing like magic). I returned it and ended up getting a $100 wildview 2.0 (and some other cameras) and I like the wildview better then the cudde. I have over 3500 pics this year alone from the wildview.
** edit - I should note that the trigger time is about 2 seconds on the i450. another thing about the i450 is it senses motion a lot better then most trail cameras. the cuddebacks for instance, are known for their very narrow sensing range. the i450 has a much wider sensing range and pretty good trigger time so you will get more pictures w/ the i450 then with cuddeback.
