I know a lot of you guys have taken a number of deer. How many years did it take you to reach the 10 mark? 20?

5 to the ten mark so far.

With this states unlimited Doe tags, it certainly didn't take long to add up the numbers. Those numbers canbe put on the board aftera good season of "product testing"

It'll be a while for me, unless Washington decides to up our limit.

But its like I always tell my friend when he complains that I don't "get enough chicks;"

I prefer quality over quantity.

Don't worry, Wash. I understand location has a lot to do with how quickly hunters reach those numbers.

I need to make a trip back east and see about whacking some does one of these years.

Let me do the math:

3 years w/bow - 1 deer (buck)
If they let me shoot does I'm confident it would be 3deer/3years.

So,
current laws 20 deer will take 60years (a bit less as I learn the game)
with doe tags I'm still looking at over a decade[:@]

With gun I don't know how many deer I have killed in the 10 years I have hunted....I suppose around 12 or so..the first 2 years I hunted I didnt get anything, and I have gotten 2 or 3 a couple years, and last year I got skunked again. After shooting my big buck, I thought for sure if I just waited I could get a shot at another whopper.....didn't ever happen. And with my gun getting stolen 1 week before season, I didn't get used to my new shotgun by the time season rolled around so I missed the 3 shots I did take on does.
