Second for boat winch, but you want to be able to anchor is securely. It is plenty to get the job done.
You can't make them high enough. I think that is a common error. Nice to crank it up as you
work your way down, saw off head, etc.

For small deer our camp has a piece of rebar welded at about 8 feet and we have some
basic metal hooks to hook and hang by the legs.
