I'm looking into getting a new bow. Looking at the Bear Truth ($390), Bear Code ($318), or the Reflex Ridgeline 32 ($449). The prices are what the dealer said he could do for me, looks like very good prices but just wanted to see if they really were. I'm not sure which one I'm going with yet, thought I would see what you guys have to say about these bows.
Thanks

I bought the Bear Code a few months ago and love it! Those are good prices considering the Truth goes for about $550, the Code about $500, either one would be a great deal for what you can get them for. Get what you can afford but more importantly get which ever one feels the most comfortable. I was torn between the Truth and Code and ended up going with the Code cuz it fit me like a glove and was very comfortable to shoot. Plus, I couldnt really tell a whole of difference between the 2 to spend the extra $ on the Truth, but I am newbie at bowhunting and probably not at that pt yet to where I can tell between the subtle differences. Either way you cant go wrong. I think Bear offers good quality bows at a great price. Alot of bow for your buck either way. Good luck!!

Well, I would look at the Truth. I saw one tonight at the range and it looked like a pretty good bow. The Reflex's are REALLY good but they are definately ALOT heavier than most.

I have the Code and it's a great shooting bow. When I was looking fro a new bowI shot a lot of different ones, Diamond, Ross, Browning,Mathews, etc... and ended up with the Fred BearCode. Money was not issue, it just felt the best in my hands. I alsoliked the Truth but it only draws to 30in and I needed a longer draw.
I don't think you can go wrong with either they are fine bows.

With those prices I would look real hard at the Truth. I just bought a BT Tribute, did not shoot the Truth until the other day and I am seriously considering dropping some cash on the Truth.
With that being said find as many as you can in your price range and shoot them all. Pick the one that fits you and your shooting style the best.
Good Luck
