S-coil for me as well. My cousin and his wife shot it is as well and we all love it.

I don't use one. It's just something else to get hung up in the brush when I'm chasing elk. Compared to yesteryear, there is virtually no noise or vibration in today's bows for a stabilizer to have much of a purpose.

an 11.5" carbon elite doinker on my hunter class 3D bow
I should have one of those as well in the next couple days... was supposed to have went out to me in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to compare/contrast the differences between it and my new custom Stealth getting made for me.
Didn't know you were in the market for one, honestly mine will probably go up for sale soon since I haven't shot HC since May and have plans to move up again from MBR to Open in 2008.

I think you will be shocked with the difference, and the ability to tweak overall balance of the bow as well by adding the modular weights is truly awesome. I owned a stealth and liked it on my old patriot, but for target purposes I really really like the Doinkers and the ability to tweak them with the modular weights. For my current 3D rig, I also use a rear mounted doinker with their leven weights to get the mass weight and neutral front/back balance characteristics I want.

When the comission checks start rolling in again from my new job I will probably go back to Doinker for my target rigs with a quadraflex setup for my indoor bow and another for my 3D bow. They are lighter than the carbon elites which is useful on a bow that already has good mass weight before stabilizers, and using the modular weights on the end also allows you to get the weight out away from the bow where you want it to slow things way down.

It's absolutely shocking how different pin float changes with a small tweak in balance and/or mass weight.........the ability to adjust that ratio of holding weight at full draw to mass weight of the bow is critical to me and Doinker is one of the few that allows me to do that while still having great shock absorbing capabilities. Shrewd is a close second.........

Currently I am using an AEP but I am thinking about the S Coil from Simms.

Good Luck with your choice. There are a lot of quality stabs. out there
