Whats up fellas, its been awhile since I posted, but have been reading along. Anyways, I ordered some Beman Black max arrows at 29 inches with the inserts installed. However, whoever cut them cut the ends crooked and now when the broadheads screw on they are not fluch all the way around, which gives them a bad wobble when spin testing. I tried the lil stone but dont want to get carried away and then not have the broadhead arrow connection. I think I can get them cut atleast an inch and a half and with some new inserts i should be able to fix my problem. But what if they cant cut them that short, HOW DO I GET THE OLD INSERTS OUT WITHOUT DAMAGING THE ARROWS???

I think I would send them back as well. If you don't want to do that, I believe you can screw a field point into the insert and heat the field point very slowly and pull out the insert without damaging the arrow. Then, you can cut off a small amount and reinstall the insert. Be careful, heat slowly and pull on the field point every little bit so you don't get the arrow any hotter than necessary.
