How early should i start baiting for whitetail deer?...bow season starts september 29th. and what is the best you can bait with?

When ever the laws say you can:D In MI it is Oct 1st, but I know some violaters already;)

I use corn or apples. I started like a month ago for trail cam pics. But I also you them when hunting does.

If it's legal.....I'd already be baiting. Introducing bait at the 11th hour might not be such a great idea.

You could use corn , carrots , sugar beets and apples .... deer will be attracted to all of it.
Check your state's rule and regulations on baiting , some states only allow a limit like a five gallon bucket and it has to spread out in a ten foot circle.

They may not cometo it if you put itout the night before your hunt , if I was to start baiting I would start a week early but once you do you have to replenish your bait pile to keep them coming back.
