RE: Shooting Question
I draw and just move to where I need to be, it comes to mind that I probably go up more than go down. I've never thought about it the way Bob H in NH wrote about though, but it makes total sense to me and I'll give it a whirl next time.

RE: Shooting Question
I come down. It is a matter of timing and not trying to hold at one point. That seems to casue a little 'waggling' around.

ORIGINAL: Rick James When I am doing what I am supposed to be doing, I am drawing with my pin on or just around the target and then settling into it. |

RE: Shooting Question
I start at 12:00 above my aiming point, and then come down in to it.Archery coaches would tell you it is easier to get in to your back muscles that way.I am far steadier coming from slightly above than from below.Like most of you it is such a matter of habit now that I don't even think about it.

RE: Shooting Question
I don't think anyone is advocating "drive by shooting" where as you drop down you punch the trigger as the pin drops. We are talking about settling the pin, coming down, into the target spot. When you get there you settle and start the shot process/squeeze.
