My wife is fully aware that I am untouchable for at least the three openers (bow, firearms and ML) every year, and busy hitting the woods for mornings and evening otherwise. Of course she always attempts to scheduled me out of ML opener (Saturday after Thanksgiving) every year. I have been "banking" hours with her, as she has had a couple out of town overnights with her friends and other activities.
We will have blast-off of our second daughter right around the end of the first week of October though, so will likely have a slow hunting week that week.

I always have meeting at the begging of the summer to list our projects and what we(she) wantsdone. I make sure all is done and ready. No worries, and yes I married UP In 11 years of marriage I have never heard, your going hunting again. Last year she schedule a scrap book weekend at the end of Oct. I made mention about me hunting, she said my bad and cancled the weekend God I love that woman

Yea she know, (not wife, long time girlfriend) in fact she help me put up a couple stands, two game cameras, and a feeder yesterday. she was happy to help to. i guess after almost 5 years she figured she cant get me out of the woods so she might as well join me.

I don't know which is better, the fact that she had no objection to our planning our son's birth around hunting season, or the fact that part of the reason she didn't object is because she is as big a football fan as me.
