I need some help I am having troubles with my anchor point. I can shoot 2" groups at 40 yards but when I shoot groups they never hit in the same spot every group. I have a peep and I just cant seem to to find the same anchor point. Would a kisser button solve my problem? I need some help I have my 1st 3D shoot tomorrow.

A kisser button would really help in this situation.

It also sounds like you might be losing focus. Try to slow everything down when you shoot. Get into a routine. Focus on drawing back your bow, then focus on a good solid anchor, etc, etc.

Take slow breaths and do not punch the trigger.

A kisser would greatly improve your anchor. Dont worry bout loss of a little speed.

I bet it might work for a week or so, then you will be doing the same thing again to some extent. I would suggest having someone that knows what they are doing watch you shoot and possibly change your form and get some more solid anchor points for you to work with. Does your bow fit you well? You should have several anchor points already if the bow fits you and the peep is located properly.

I would suggest a NO Peep from timberline over a Kisser myself.

Really if your peep is set up right and you use it correctly you should not need a kisser button, they are made to replace a peep sight not be used with one.

I mak sure my nose is centered on the string (touching) and I place my knuckle behind my ear on my jaw bone. There is a nice pocket for your knuckle to set in right behing your ear on the upper part of your jaw bone. When you use a kisser your mouth has to be held right all the time.

I actually took my kisser off today, just to mess around. I always use the knuckle behind the jaw bone also. Really like it with the kisser on better, seemed more consistent.

my draw length MIGHT be a tad too long, but i have three anchor points, vane in the corner of my mouth, knuckle touches same place, and tip of nose touches string.

I think I fixed my problem I just make sure the bubble is in the center of the level on my sight andit seems to keep my shots consistent. Before it would always shoot good vertically but usually it would be off horizontally. Thanks for all the advice. I know my form isnt correct but I can outshoot pretty much everybody I know so why change?
