We played around with my bow last night and I seemed to find an arrow that was a good happy medium for me. I ended up getting Gold Tip XT Hunters. They aren't the heaviest arrow at 8.2 gr/in, but it seems to be a good combination of speed. They topped out at 370-372gr on the scales. Which at 63lbs @ 29" it slung them thru the chrono at 265fps. Putting my KE at around 58 ft/lbs. I am actually getting ready to go get my DL mod that fits me a little better. We'll see what a 1/2" off the draw and arrow does to everything. I'll more than likely bump the poundage up if I end up having to hunt with this bow, but otherwise, expect some 50-60lb limbs on about 52-54lbs for target purposes. I've put over 500 shots through this bow in 2 days. I think I've got an addiction [8D]

Not sure that I have seen that kind of speed out of the vectrix. Thats 4fps above IBO. You sure your chrono isn't off a little???

Well, it's not been "officially" calibrated, but from what I've heard the Vectrix is running a touch hot anyway......I was surprised by that as well, but we've also done some "tuning" to get some speed out of her.....

29" draw, 70# HCA Iron Mace
250 grain arrow @ 369 fps = 75.6# KE
300 grain arrow @ 343 fps = 77# KE
I might be hunting with 85 grain grim reapers - total arrow weight of 285. That should put me around 348 fps and 76.6# KE
