The Blair Witch is serious man............But I think Ohio is a little bit out of range for the Blair Witch. That's more East Coast.

If that ain't it, try some of the others.

I also bet it is a Screech Owl. They can make some noises that will make you think that someone is getting murdered across the way.

Might be a fox also. They sound like a woman screaming, I thought a lady was being attacked one night it was so bad.
