Would you lower your buck standard?

I don't care for Velvet racks! If the animal was a monster I would make an exception but assuming they were close to shedding their velvet I would strip it off.

Yea being the factI have a chance at three bucks after i shot that one. IT would at least have to be a 6 point though, i did let a spike in velvet go last year and its beutiful to see up close.

Its kind of like being a single guy out at the bar/club...as the night (season)goes by and closing (end)time nears you become a little less picky in what your willing to take home.

Since I'm just a plain old hunter and not a chest thumping trophy hunter, I have no set standard to lower. I can go out and enjoy hunting without all the pressure and take whichever animal I like, velvet or no.

Don't have a standard for that either, Red Lion. Done caught my skirt. Been with the same gal 30 years now and settling in for what I hope is at least another 30.
