I will use any advantage that I can get. During legalfirearms season, I hunt with a rifle or revolver.

Yeah here in my part of new york if u get your lisence early youll get 2 does and a buck bow i think. I could be wrong.

It is not legal in Nebraska to hunt with a bow during the firearm season. The archery season closes for those 10 days and then resumes after it. So I hunt with my bow and during rifle season I hunt Pheasants with my doggie.

I bowhunt only but I usuall stay out of the woods while the guns are going off.

I love bowhunting, but also love hunting with my ML during regular firearms and ML seasons.

I mainly hunt in a rural area yet with houses and dwellings not far away. I have taken a different strategy during gun season and hunted closer to ore even IN sanctuaries with my bow, places gun hunters can't or won't go because they'd be too close to or shooting in the direction of houses. Gun season pretty much drives the deer underground until the next year so you might as well pull out all the stops by bearing down on their sanctuaries where I am.

I have set up in some swamps and grassy draws and watched the deer pour into these areas to escape the gun hunters some years and trickle in others. Regardless, its a good bet that I will see some deer and get a shot on at least one. Knock on wood. Usually a doe.

It depends on where I am hunting. I bowhunt some areas all season and gunhunt others during gunseason. I enjoy hunting, and don't take the approach that am somehow superior if I kill itwith a bow or gun. Most of my gun kills are well within bow range, so I take pride in the hunt not in the method of the kill.I hunt just as close as I can get to the deer, without detection whethe I am bowhunting or gun hunting, so in essence I try to make the challenge equal, whether I am pulling the trigger on my release or my rifle.I do respect those who are inclined to bowhunt only because that is what they enjoy doing. I have no disrespect for those that gun hunt also or exclusively.

I hunt opening dayof PA's gun season and the first Tuesday, andSaturday with a gun. The rest of the season I hunt with a bow. Bowhunting on thosethree days would be a bit of a waste becasue there are so many guys in the woods and the deer are running on hyperdrive.

I hunt with bow all season except for the two weekends of firearms.....I sit home those weekends and rest up.
