I don't worry about keeping them scent free all year. I'm going to be wearing my hunting clothes a few weeks before season starts anyway. Gotta make sure they still fit and also to practice shooting while wearing the same clothes I intend to hunt with. Doesn't make sense to go through all that storage rigamarole just to have to wash and de-scent them again anyway.

During the off season, I hang them in my closet. Right before the season starts, I'll wash them in scent free detergent and put them in large zip-lock bags, usually dividing them into early season, mid season, and late season bags.

Plastic rubbermaid containers.

I toss some baking soda in mine to absorb odors.
That's exactly what I do as well.

Hefty makes some 2 1/2 gallon zip freezer bags...just enough to fit about one outfit in, then they go in the Rubbermade containers.

I don't just use the plastic containers for scent.

Due to lack of space in my house (and complaining wife), I put the guest bed on cinderblocks,
and bought the containers to fit nicely under the bed.

I have some real wool camo hunting stuff. Supposed to be dry cleaned only. Have never washed it. Any tips for storing and/or keeping this stuff scent free in the off season? Thanks. Roskoe

I just hang them in my basement, I hung a rod under the stairs to hangmy jackets, bibs and other large stuff on. The rest of my hunting clothes (pants, shirts, gloves, thermals, etc... go in a big plastic shelving unit directily across from the jackets.
