i love my trophy ridge..... i dont see whats so hard about a 25 or 35 yard shot... jus aim a touch high with your 20 or a touch high with the 30.??? i dont have any proablems.... hell any more bows are so fast, from 20-25 yards u dont drop that much to make a difference when shootin a a deers vitials.. imo

horizontal pins here....its hard to use vertical for indoorin the bowhunter class.....I'm not a big fan of vertical sights for hunting either...I like Extreme Sights....stainless pins, tuff as all get out, and they have a lifetime guarantee...if they break, they'll fix'em...but thats not going to happen...

For you verticle pin guys, let's say you have a 30 and 40 yard pin. How do you shoot at say a 35 yard target? Splitting pins on those vertical pins would drive me up a wall.
Horizontal for me...........

HORIZONTAL for sure. Can't stand those verticle stacked things. I'd go to no pins or a single before I'd go verticle. Speaking of pins... have any of you noticed the guy on the Bowtech hunting show on MOR or is it the Outdoor channel. He's got a Spot Hogg sight with7 PINS!! Man, you talk about a confusing sight picture at the moment of truth.

I've looked at the vert pinsystem and thought that it would block my sight picture when I least needed it. My hunting buddy thinks the same for horizontal so I guess its personal preferance.[:-]
