A REAL hunting show: Deer & Deer Hunting TV!
I expressed an opinion of some other hunting shows with a reality TV feel and got accused of whinning...so be it, I have something REAL to watch. Just saw the season opener for Deer & Deer Hunting TV. Wow, everything you want in a hunting show. Charlie Alseimer has alwas been a quality guy...he has probably forgotten more than most of us will ever know about deer behavior and hunting. In addtion to hunting it includes some Great new segments:
Vital Information...after the hunt rating of shot placement with 3D graphics
Spring Scouting and stand placement suggestions
Flashback...seeing if theory from the past regarding deer holds up with current knowledge and research
Score the Deer...allows you to estimate a buck in the field with a known score
Just can't say enough about it...only wish it was an hour show instead of 30 minutes. Check it out.

plus 1 good show I would like to seea show more geared toward teaching than all the huge buck kills.I like the hunts but wouldn't it be cool if there was a show that went to average guy property and showed how they scout it and how they would pick stands ect...

I re-newed my subscription (last year) through 2010 since they had a promotion to get the 1st season for FREE on DVD.

They do have a great show and a very nice magazine with some really awesome pictures of Deers.I buy their magazines off the newstands all the time,they also have another magazine called Turkey & Turkey Hunting.

I thought it was a really good show. There wasnt as much hunting as most shows but they went over the show with a hunting aspect. I really like the segment where they take the hunt and the shot and break the shot down and give the shot a point system. They explained why they gave it that many points and what the variables were. I have to say I was impressed!
