Default First Deer?

I know we've probably been over this before, but too bad.

I was going through some old photos the other night and found one of the first deer I ever shot with my bow. A nice doe that came in one night and met her maker at the end of my Zwickey-tipped XX75. Ah yes, the Golden Eagle Predator sure did it's job that night. I remember my dad telling me "Well, you shot your first deer. Now all you need to do is get your driver's license, get (sorry, can't post this here!) and you'll be a man." I had just turned 15 at the time, waaaay back in 1995.

So let's see the photos if you've got them. These are always good.

2 out of 3 aint bad Justin.....Don't worry though, you're young...

I actually don't have a picture of my first deer w/ archery tackle, but it was December of 2003 and it had snowed most of the day. I froze my tail off, sitting in stand for more than 6 hours in the snow ( I had NO idea how to stay warm on stand at that time) and whacked a button buck at 7 yards, almost straight down. I remember it like it was yesterday, and not a picture did we take....I have no idea why..

No pic of mine but my first bow kill was a 210# old dry doe we named scar. Two weeks later I got my first bowbuck, a 180lb spike, my first ever buck was with a gun back in 1996. 6 pointer that dressed out at 197

Joey - that is one sweet hat!

As for you Hunsucker - I believe my good friend dukemichaels said it best when he said "Even Washington Hunter could kill a Pope and Young on Hunsucker's ground."

PS - Is that a Chevy you're driving? I couldn't tell.

Justin - Funny thing is that the old Xtra Grey(I think) Realtree Jacket i'm wearing in the pic, still fits, and I'm wearing it every year...

Also, I'm pretty sure Michaels rideIS a Chevy. Possibly a Chevy Luv?...lol
