Default Getting new arrows!!! Help me out...

As some of you know, I have just bought an 06 bowtech allegiance. The seller is also giving me some beman black max 340 arrows. Now he said he was shooting the bow at 70#s and a 125gr head with a 28.5" draw length. and the bow was shooting bullet holes. So my question is: I plan on hunting with a draw weight of 64-67 pounds and a 100 grain head. If I'm reading the charts right this is going to make my arrow way over spined. Is this correct? Now that being said, I would like to buy myself some new arrows anyway. The arrows that are coming with the bow weigh 464 gr. with a 125 grain head. I want something a little lighter. So my next question is what arrow and what arrow size would you guys recommend for my setup. As I mentioned earlier I have a 28.5" draw and my allegiance will have a draw weight of somewhere between 64-67 pounds when hunting season rolls around. Well there it is. I want to hear from some of you professionals. Correctly spining an arrow is not one of my strong suits. So help me out if you can. What arrows do you guys with the same setup use? Thanks

I'm assuming your arrows will be around 27 1/2 to 28", so here's my 2 cents...

Carbon Express Maxima Hunter (or Maxima, or Maxima 3D Select) 250's
Easton ACC 3-49's
Easton Axis 400's

Some of the other guys will chime in with the Gold Tip selections. We don't sell them and as a result Ihave no experience, and very little knowledge of them.

What he said ...our specs are similar and I've shot the ACC 3-49's and 250 Maxima Hunters with very good results. I have no experience with the Axis arrows, however. Good luck.

I am not a professional but I would recommend:

Easton Epic 400(8.7gpi)28" 100g tip= around 390grains
or
Beman ISC Hunter 400(8.4gpi)28" 100g= around 380grains

I think I have decided on the Carbon express Maxima's. However, I am not sure if I should get the 250's or 350's. As I mentioned I will be hunting at about 65#'s and my arrows are 28" long. According to the carbon express charts a 28" maxima arrow would be a underspined if I shot the bow at 63# or greater. Is this correct? I would like to go with the 250's but I am afraid of being underspined. What do you guys think. I'm sure some of you that work in the pro-shops can help me out. Is there any way I can shoot the 250's or should I just get the 350's. Here is a copy of the spine selection chart.

I shot Maxima's last year and did not care for them. One of them broke on the very first time it was shot into a bag target. CX replaced the broken arrow, but I never got the accuracy that I expected from a premium arrow. My old Goldtip XT hunters shot better (for me).

This year I went back to Goldtip and upgraded to Pro hunter.

My recommendation is to buy the best arrow you can afford from Goldtip or Easton.
