I am going to bowhunt whitetails off the ground even more this fall than last season. I am going to hunt smarter, harder and make sure not to cut any corners in regards to preperation and set up. I am and will expand my hunting areas and opportunities on newly scouted grounds from this winter and spring shed hunts and finally from this summers glassing.

I still don't know were I will be opening day August30th...by mid August I will.

I am going to hunt with a longbow.(pending I am confident enough at the beginning of the season. Probably not going to increase my odds of success, but its something I want to do. I'll still keep the wheels ready to go as back up:D

It's too late to do most of what I wanted to do already.......Mostly I'm just going to hunt smarter, and use the terrain more.

First thing I did was get a job closer to home with less working hours and will be getting a pink slip in the late fall! I took two years off because my old job was way too much!

Hunting new spots and going deeper into the woods. Been walking and getting in better shape.

I'm going to foresake buck huntingfor the betterment of the herd. I will make the first doe presenting an ethical shot my target, each hunt. Then.....I will repeat.

If I shoot a buck, this year.....I'll be (pleasantly) surprised.
