Moving to Mesa, AZ this Sunday. Looks like my first season bowhunting will be in one of the toughest/most beautiful venues there is. Can't wait to see what happens!

have you ever done any hunting in arizona? i am curious to see what kind of deer come out of there.

No hunting yet. From what I've gathered, AZ has some very nice Mule Deer you need to be drawn to get close to,and a large population of Coues Deer (small, almost miniaturewhitetails)which I will befocusing my efforts on.

Keep us posted! My roomate from college is moving toArizona in two weeks for the border patrol. He's a novice but would like to get more into hunting.

AZ is supposed to have some great Elk hunting[:-], so you may want to look into that too.

If you got Injun blood in you you have some great places to hunt. [8D]
