RE: Rubber Boot ?
ORIGINAL: IL-Cornfed There isn't a more comfortable rubber boot to wear than the Alfa Burly Sports! I love these boots so much I rarely ever even want to wear any others. |
RE: Rubber Boot ?
I have always just wore regular work boots in Texas its to hot to wear rubber boots

RE: Rubber Boot ?
Second Cornfed,
I love the Alpha Burlys. They also have a more shoe like traction. I had some old boots with big clunky Chevron soles and when raining it was pretty scary climbing tree pegs! The Alphas may not be quite as durable as txjourney pointed out, but they are about like most basic rubber boots. I've busted through briars without tearing them, but I'm sure thorns would do them (and lots of other things) in. We have a lot of honey locust and I try to watch out for them. |
RE: Rubber Boot ?
I had the same problem with the feet sweat. But I was getting busted so I tried the muck boots and have found them to be worthy. Try a pair you'd be surprised.

RE: Rubber Boot ?
I will third Muck Boots, very comfortable, water proof and sturdy.

RE: Rubber Boot ?
Warm weather or cold weather?
I wear my $20 Northerners early season. But for the best comfort I find Muck boots to be the best. Its like wearing tennis shoes. |
RE: Rubber Boot ?
I've never found a need to wear rubber boots. I've had deer walk on the same trail that I walk in on and never been bust for stank feet.
