Pic from 1st Fletch Job
Just bought the Bohning Blazer Jig and tried my hand at fletching for the first time. Easy to use, and definitely better than paying to have it done. I noticed the jig was putting the Blazers on closer to the nock than factory arrows, take a look and tell me if this will be a problem.

Looks good, and like I said in your other thread the closer to the nock the better as far as I am concerned.

Awesome. Thanks. Can't wait to try 'em out. I had the exact arrows chrono-ed today and I was at 240 (they're heavy, 11 gpi). I'm gonna shoot again tomorrow and see if the Blazers make any difference, even though I'm more excited that they won't be ripping and tearing like the crappy duravanes I had on them.

RE: Pic from 1st Fletch Job
doesn't the arrow stabalize faster, the closer the fletching is to the nock?
