They do look great. I use a Bitz and place my Blazers about the same spot, (eye balling it).

Was that just the regular bohning jig you used or was it the new tower jig that does all three vanes at the same time? I have been interested in trying the tower jig. Just curious.

Same here. It is so much rewarding and cheaper to fletch your own arrows.

It is the Bohning Blazer Jig. It does one at a time,and is specially designed for Blazers. After the first few, I was able to crank one completed arrow out every couple minutes. The glue dries so fast that you can clamp for 15-20 seconds, spin, and do the next one. I wouldn't recommend this jig if you plan on refletching quite a bit. It is made ofplastic, and for $20 more you can get a Bitz.

so it is better to have your vanes as close to the nock as possible? is this regardless of vane length???

Thanks for the info. I already have a bitz and i love it. I was just curious about the new Tower.
