The odd part about this bow slap is that it is slapping down near the wrist, as opposed to the inner meaty part of the forearm
[ /quote]Yep it's your grip trychanging your grip some.

Try this little experiment;

Hold your bow arm out as if you are holding an imaginary bow. Chances are that your knuckles are in the verticle position( up and down)

Now turn you bow arm with the imaginary bow so that your knuckles are horizontal ( going across).

Notice what happens to you forearm and wrist.

You should be holding you bow with your knuckles almost horizontal. Only the heel of you thumb should be touching the grip NOT YOUR PALM!

This is the only part of your hand that should touch the grip.

Try this out and see if it helps

Your bow wouldn't happen to be a PSE Baby-G would it?

I had one and always had a problem with it slapping my wrist (Not my forearm)

From time to time it would bite me. Ended up selling it.

Go back to the old release and see if you still have the problem... if not you know what is causing it.:eek:

One of the best things about an STS type string suppressor is that it eliminates wrist slap. I have an extra one, PM or email me if you want to try it.
