Default 3 bows in mind , which to choose ?

I am currently looking into buying my first bow in package form , 3 in mind but which ? . $500 -$600 my maximum spend .

Fred Bear Instinct

Martin Bengal or Cheetah Magnum

Bowtech Tomkat

I can only import these bows , so therefore cannot try them out first .

I personally belive that you should always shoot a bow before buying it. but if you cant at all then go with a bowtech

Tomkat is more expensive then the Bear or Martins.
So if I had to choose from those w/o price, I'd say Tomkat with binary cam and a little faster. I'm not sure if you can get a Tomkat w/o a package though.

But for the money, both the Bear and those Martin's are supposed to be great values.

never have shot any of the bows u listed, but heard the new bear bow was great bow for the money, although any of the 3 would probably work just fine.I would try to shoot some of my buddies bows first and go from there.

I would really like to stretch to the Tribute , but this is my first bow and all bows i am looking at will come in bow package with all the right bits .

i have just found a dealer in the UK that sells the Tomkat in package form for 400pounds sterling which aint bad ,look like it comes with crappy sight , quiver , compared to the bits i have seen fitted in America . will see what the import price comes too first , but am gonna try it out at the shop anyway . thanks

I've shot Martin bows since 1972, never had a problem, and they shot great. I've abused my bows thru the years and they took it all. Rich

they are all good bows so you cant go wrong there. Personally I would consider buying a slightly used tribute or allegiance or a switchback or something like that. You should be able to find a like new one for that price range.

My thoughts exactly Rick, Go on to A.T and you should be able to find an allegiance or tribute fully equiped with high end sight and rest for the same price
