Default How many pins do you prefer??

How many pins do you prefer and why?Right now I have a five pin sight but, because I will mostly hunt out of a treestand, I am thinking about switching to a 1 pin. For those of you who use 7 pin, please be sure to explain in detail why in the HELL you do!!

One. Pin gap is just too close together anymore. Multiple pins just confuse me, and for hunting I set my pin for 25 yards......1" high at 20, 1" low at 30. Doesn't get much better than that.

Yeah, I am looking into 1 pin sights for just that reason. Which sight do you use?

I like to use a 2 pin setup for hunting. 25 and 35 yards.

Sometimes I only use one at 25 or 30 though. I change it up year to year.

I use one pin set at 20 yards.

I typically huntsome sort of funnel. I don't hunt field edges too often. So, where I hunt, there is no need for more than one pin. Of the twentysomeodd deer I've killed, the average distance is 17 yards. One pin is just fine.

The first deer i ever shot at with my bow i missed on the first shot. I was lucky enough to get another shot but i killed the deer but never knew what pin i used. After that i went to a 1 pin movable sight and never looked back.

Sorry man, I didn't even think of putting 2 pins on there. I didn't think they even sold them.

Same here, I think I'm gonna go with just 2 from now on.
