Or, I used to stalk them (so much fun by the way...great way to spend an afternoon), using my compound with carbon arrows and 125gr Simmons Sharks. Easy to resharpen...

I did shoot at one, and I think I hit the sucker, with a rubber stump shooting blunt/bludgeon. Made a heck of a noise and I didn't see that particular whistle pig again.

If this things if burrowing near the house you want to kill it on the spot. If it runs off and dies in it's hole it could stink up the place.
