In preparation for the upcoming2007/2008 season several HuntingNet members have expressed their interest in setting specific goals for themselves regarding what they consider to be a successful season. During those conversations the topic of donating money to a charity depending on whether or not those goals are achieved as brought up, and an overwhelmingly positive amount of feedback was received.

At this time an official charity has not been determined, nor have the specifics regarding who will collect and distribute the money at the end of the season. These topics will be opened for feedback and decision making shortly.

In the meantime, please use this thread to sign up for your specific goals and monetary contributions to whatever charity is decided upon by the group. This contribuation is 100% voluntary and the criteria and amount of donation will be determined by each individual who elects to participate.

With that said, please state your personal goals and your monetary donation in this thread. I will leave it pinned to the top of the page until the end of this year's season so you may edit your post at any time. Please don't quote the response before you, just type in your comments and that's all.

My goal is to either harvest a buck with my bow on film, or to film another hunter harvest a buck on film. If I do not meet this goal, I will donate $25 to the charity that is chosen by the group.

If I do meet this goal, I will donate my original $25 plus $1 per inch of antler of the first deer to meet my goal.

In addition to that, I will also donate $0.25 per inch of antler of the largest buck harvested in the 2007 Bowhunting Deer Contest.

BobCo $25 for each deer I harvest, plus30 cents for each inch of antler growth of the largest buck taken by an individual donating here (has to be entered BEFORE their actual season started). Check made out to the charity.

50.00 bucks if I do not reach my goal. .25 cents an inch if I do. $10.00 a doe.

I have my eyes on ONE particular buck..."The Bull". If I harvest this deer....I'll donate $1 per inch of antler....or $100 (whichever is greater).

If I don't get that deer.....I'll donate $10 per doe I harvest + $5 per doe GR8 takes.

My goal is for my first P&Y buck. If I do not hit this I will donate $25 to the charity. If I do achieve my goal I will not only donate the $25 but I will donate .25 cents for each inch of antler.

Ron 3775 - $20 if Autumn Assassins do not repeat, $20 if it is under 120" and $.50 for the difference up to 120". If I do not get a buck this year then I will donate $30.

GR8atta2d will donate 5$ per doe and .5$ per inch above100 inches.

$100 if I do not reach my goal of a 100 inch buck. $1/in for 100" or greater. $150 for first deer killed with trad gear. Whichever comes first. I too will throw $25 in the pot for Mobo's 1st buck.
